Music – the balm to your soul

Reading Time: 3 minutes

There is this one beautiful aid in this world, which heals a complex soul, relaxes a stressful mind, and eases human life in many aspects, to an extent where one cannot even imagine. Yes, I am talking about an art form, a culture which holds the society together, that is “MUSIC”.

Music exists in every bit of our surrounding, it exists in the rhythm of our heart beat, it is heard in the wind that blows in a bright sunny morning, it is played in the rains which flows through grounds and to the rivers of unknown. We are blessed to have the ability to create a background music in the littlest things that exist around us.

Music gives life to things that are as alive as dead, what makes a movie more interesting? For what reason do we remember the legendary singers? It is because of the uniqueness music contains, which is strong enough to manipulate a common man. Yes, music is definitely something which one cannot deny.

How wonderful would if it be if we lived in a community where there is music heard in every corner and people of all ages sitting in the park bench every evening sharing their favorite songs and musical notes. Music is derived from an ancient culture that sets a tradition in Indian society. Music as a performing has evolved in different forms, giving rise to talents and also creating a healthy environment who live with it.

Just to take an instance, when there is a music school in the city, children, youngsters and even the old age people will gather around to learn this art. Indian classical music is one such art form that is derived from ancient India and is always appreciated and thought for the divinity it contains. Each raga or tunes of classical music has its essence to fulfill. Studies say that, each Raga in the classical music, has its own strength in healing mental disorders and disabilities.

It is also necessary for a young child to learn music and its history, upholding the traditions and culture which is long lost in the kids of this generation, when a child starts to learn music, he/she will gain the ability to strengthen his/her mental abilities and way of life. Having been nurtured in music school the person will tend to attain knowledge, discipline and a whole perspective in life, which will make this word a better place.

Living in a community with musical atmosphere, is a highlight to one’s lifestyle and such environment is always filled with positivity and divine vibe, which would want every individual to live in a community like this. Music colors the ambience with its own essence and aura.
