Although everyone might not have played in a proper basketball court or with the real ball, yes, we have always imitated that with a balloon or a small ball. And the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan, who has not heard about him. But ever wondered? What made him that great? What made him the best in the world? What made him the legend?

It was practice, opportunity, and an urge to be the best, but above all, an environment to support his passion.
Where we lack is the opportunity and the environment. But before that, let us discuss the benefits of playing the game.

Physical
There are numerous physical benefits of playing this game, such as- it helps to improve motor coordination & flexibility and generates endurance in the body. Also, it enhances speed, agility, and strength. All these benefits and skills show a positive and upward curve in the effects of promoting a healthy body, good weight, and more physical activity. All these also enhance cardiorespiratory fitness and self-esteem.
Now imagine people with several body malfunctions & diseases, it is a solution to avoid that- physical activity!

Morals & Mindfulness
Basketball is all about teamwork and provides the opportunity to deal with different types of people from different backgrounds and social groups to collaborate and foster a great team environment.
Basketball has always played a meaningful role in shaping people.
Imagine yourself learning and your children having this in their behavior since childhood, wouldn’t that be great to have for life measures?
It is a general belief that sports only teach us how to win games or be physically strong, but sports have a much broader impact on our life- they help us develop real-world skills that can be crucial in all areas of our life.

Coordination and teamwork is an essential part of any good team. Resonating with this in life, we grow if we are willing to contribute, share, and cooperate.
Sports teaches us to overcome adversity. What might, in our opinion, be a wrong call by the referee may cost us a game, or our key players might injure themselves before an important match and upset your game plan, and that is when one learns to overcome the failures and know the art of trying again and again until success is perceived.
We even develop the mentality to overcome adversity through sport.

Discipline
For a sportsperson, discipline is essential. It acts as a bridge between the goals and the accomplishment. Learning discipline will help throughout our life, whether it is studying every day for a test or doing our work ahead of time. To be extraordinary, all we need is discipline.
In sports, we learn to respect- the coach & referee, the teammates, and even our opponents. We must learn to acknowledge that sometimes our opponent might be better. We must understand that without respect, winning does not mean anything. We must never put another player down.
In life, without respecting others, we cannot get anywhere. No strong-people put others down; they lift them. Sports-like Basketball teaches us just that.

Now, imagine growing in such an environment that is beneficial in multiple ways and teaches significant life lessons.
