Do you know what is inside your water tanker? In these days of the acute water crisis, you must take a look.
Bengaluru is going through a severe water crisis. The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has said that since Bengaluru’s water consumption reached an all-time high, there’s no more water to be had.
When there’s a shortage of water supply, one is glad to see a water tanker appear on one’s doorstep after multiple phone calls and waiting for many hours. In such circumstances, consumers are hardly likely to run a check on the quality of water tankers and the water they’re carrying. Water tankers should have an EPI (Ethoxylated poleythyiemine) coating to prevent hazardous chemical reactions between the tanker’s metal and the salts that are dissolved in the water it carries.
The supply of drinking water through rusty water tankers would have an adverse impact on those who consume them. Many incidents have found that the water quality from these tankers is poorer than water coming out of STP. It is not advisable to drink such water and people who drink such water will suffer from health issues.

Getting something, if not pure, but at-least of consumable quality is too hidden from view. Amid this, a hope for a better essential is soemthing to look for!!
